Creating the information book

From the research gathered for the information book i wanted to create i started to create and edit images so they could be put into the book. I want the images to be long and thing for the book so i could fit a lot of information on one page, these pictures would be of places to visit during the races and who is taking part in the race.

Concept of the book

This book will give people information about the event they are taking part in, it will be received in the post with all the other relevant materials for the event. The book will give people information about places they can visit whilst the event is on who is in the event and what tracks are there and also how to get to each track.

Editing the research images

After editing all the images i was left with these images below, i made all the images black and white for the professionals because i thought this gave off a a more professional feel and it would contrast against the colours i used.

Placing the images

I then placed the information about the relevant pictures below

Having the grey images contrasts well with the full colours of the places to visit in the book.

I kept these as the same layout as the pros section to keep the consistency

I then added in the lines so it fits in with the rest of the brand and identity, i have put a opacity on the lines so the image below can still be seen below.

Above is contents page i started off with

I then started to add in the contents the book has in it

Places to visit
Pro cyclists in the race
Maps of the 4 tracks
Preparing the bike
Getting there

Within the book there is then the 4 tracks so people can see what track they want to take part in and the distance of each event.

After this i then put in the book how people should prepare there bike, so that everything is safe and ready to go for the race

I then gave simple directions to each track
