After reading the breif and seeing what they really wanted it was clear they needed a new bottle that was going to draw in new costumers. So i came up with some ideas below of different bottle ideas that would be interesting and unique. 

Some ideas i came up with were to have a bottle that is recyclable and can be re used or turned into something else, and interesting way of opening the bottle, a unique bottle that is a completely different shape to the old one. 


After coming up with some ideas and doing research shown on my Context blog i started skethcing some ideas of bottle shapes that i would like to do. 

I really like the idea of having something that could work together in a set and also the 2 circles that are on the front of the design could then be transferred across to other areas of design. They also allow there to colours involved that would represent each bottle, the energy one and then the natural one. 

The bottle above is an extreme type of bottle that i feel would be really quirky and would appeal to the target audience. 

I also really like this idea below, because i could then use these circles for advertisement. 

Looking at different type of bottles i could use from my drawings. 

I really like the simplicity of this bottle

I again like the simplicity of this bottle and also the square format to it. 

I think this bottle is very interesting and would be a lot different to whats out there now. 


I feel like that that bottle would be too hard to hold and wouldn't relate well to my target audience of people who are up and on the go. I wanted something more square and easier to hold.

After looking into that shape above i thought i could work with it a bit more so i added in thumb and finger holes that would make the bottle much easier to hold.

Next i looked into what colours i could use, thinking about what the bottles are for, energy and natural energy i think the most appropriate are green and orange. 

Using a selection or a few of these colours i would start to develop the bottle.


after looking at the gradient i had made above i started to think that it looked really nice as a gradient. Shown below with the two circles using my drawings as inspiration. 

I also drew these bottle lids to see which one might look best on the bottle design i had chosen 

In the end i went for a completely different design that was simple 

Thinking again about the gradient i created the circles below 

I thought these looked stronger than the two plain circles


next using there logo i put the bottle and gradients together 

For the lids i wanted them to be colure co-ordinated so i changed them to the colours of each bottle 

I then added the lids to the bottle design 

Next i started to look at different colour variations, trying to keep the contrast between the colours but also at the same time have the two colours representing natural and energy. 

I felt the grey at the top was the best 2 colours but i don't think they are as strong as just having the striking black and white with the green and orange. 

After deciding to stick to my original colours 
I then added stripes to the lid to fit in with the gradient.
