Photoshop Brief Postcards

BRIEF

Produce a set of five postcards that explore your given shape. CROSS

Using your shape as the theme photograph areas of the college to base your manipulation in Photoshop upon.

ALL OF MY IMAGES

I then selected the best images or the ones i thought i could edit the best. I then thought about what different effects i could do with the images. So i looked at the effects that can be done, such as the filter effects and the artistic effects.

I started off by using the graphic pen tool on the buildings that are behind the window. I thought this provided a interesting look that produced a almost drawn like image. It is maybe however to extreme.

I then found this artistic feature below, the poster edges, which again provides a image that looks drawn  but isn't too extreme. I also thought it provided a interesting look on the building that will not of been seen like that before.

I then used this image and turned it into a comic look, i really like the colours and the spotted look on the image.

I then layered a image to see the effect i could get. This images is one of a ceiling and another of the wires from a computer, both forming crosses at times. It was done by firstly cutting the image out and the tracing it on to the other image.

I then pasted it on top of the other image and rotated it to the same direction as the other one.

I then changed the opacity on the top image so the other one showed through.

This was the final outcome which i thought was very effective.

I then decided to combine different ideas, so i used the technique above, i then used the filter, sketch, graphic pen tool, on both images so both layers would be effected.

This then created my 5 postcards.
